Computer Education

In the year 1994 SEWS started Computer Awareness Campaign in leading schools of Delhi and nine schools were awarded with the prestigious ‘Jugal Kishore Khanna Memorial’ Trophies for the encouragement of Computer Education. The award distribution function was held on 3rd April 1994 at Constitution Club, New Delhi and was presided over by Shri Ram Niwas Mirdha, M.P and attended by Shri Sikender Bakht, M.P Shri Murli Manohar Joshi, HRD Minister, Mrs. Aruna Asaf Ali, eminent Social worker & freedom fighter and Comrade Ramkishan, Ex Chief Minister of Punjab.

In December 1994 and January 1995 the SEWS conducted Computer Awareness tests in the schools.

In 1997 the Society organized ‘Computer Awareness Program in twenty leading schools of Delhi.

In the Computer Award distribution function organized by the Society on 16th August 1998, Smt. Chona, the Principal Delhi Public School (D.P.S.) R. K. Puram; Shri Satender Kumar, Principal G. D. Goenka International School; Shri Singal, Principal Birla Vidya Niketan; Shri Shekhar Principal Gyan Bharati School; Shri Bhola from Mother’s International School; were amongst those who received trophies on behalf of their schools from Shri Sikender Bakht, Union Industry Minister.
