On April 19, 2015 The Socio Economic Welfare Society through its subsidiary PIE (Parent Involvement in Education) organized a symposium on school education reforms implementation and implications. The conference was addressed by Somnath Bharti and Saurabh Bhardwaj , the Members of Legislative Assembly, Delhi Government. Number of Educationists aand Parents of the school students were also present in the symposium. It was uninamously decided that a nonpolitical, non-Government parent body PIE should have an active advisory role in steps like change in curriculum etc.
